Miguel Eek is a filmmaker born in Madrid in 1982 and raised between Mallorca, Stockholm, and Barcelona. A graduate of ESCAC in documentary filmmaking, he further trained at Arcada University in Helsinki and through programs including Eurodoc. In 2008, he founded Mosaic, a production company focused on documentary cinema. His films have screened at major international festivals including International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and CPH:DOX, winning numerous international awards. Since 2019, he has served as artistic director of MajorDocs and was named an Emerging Producer for 2025.
