Two AIAC favorites, Baloji and Blitz the Ambassador have been busy.

Globetrotting Belgian-Congolese MC, Baloji, was in New York for a performance in January. Since I couldn’t make the show, I was happy to find that Afropop.org had recorded the above interview and performance from Harlem’s The Shrine. It looks like Uptown was on fire that night!

And below is a trailer for a short film that will accompany the release of Blitz the Ambassador’s new album in early May, taking the idea of a concept album to Jay-Z levels.
