Remember Adam Habib, the South African political commentator, who on his last trip to the United States in 2007 was declared a terrorist, refused entry and put on a plane back to South Africa? He was never told what he did wrong (he was a vocal critic of the US occupation in Iraq). Now the ban has been lifted. So on April 7th, he’ll be in New York City and will give a talk on social movements in South Africa at his alma mater, the City University of New York.
