Coming Out in Cameroon

One of the human rights activists featuring in the 2009 documentary Cameroon: Coming Out of the Nkuta is Alice Nkom. The film sketches the daily struggle of young gays and lesbians in Cameroon. Nkom was in The Netherlands this week to talk about their fight.

    reminds you not to give up in this fight this liberation for queer rights. a brave & humble human rights activist in cameroon. alice nkom fights for criminalized queers in cameroon. that is fierce and i hope more people check out the film and support all the work that is taking place in the continent for queers to be free. africa is the future. thank you for this.
