10 minute rip-off of successful BBC TV series, “The Office,” for a local Youtube humor channel, NotOnTV. Little different from the original, with a few nods to local conditions. Also mildly funny in parts with good production values.

Excellent!!! It was much more authentic than the American version, yet with that South African twist. Well done. If it was a full time show, I would watch it!!

Any social & political complexity is always best dealt with through revealing the common human shortcomings and via satire. After all, stereotyping is always reflection of our limits. The show leads into that direction and, to a degree, I feel helps the process of post-apartheid healing goal at hand.
