The picture above–taken at a famous cake shop in my neighborhood which has contributed to my unhealthy state–accompanied a story today in The New York Times on the city’s mayoral candidates’: Michael Bloomberg the wealthy candidate who does not need a party), and his opponent, Democrat, Bill Thompson. The election, of course, is today.
I thought it is a great picture of the socially awkward Bloomberg who managed to change the city’s electoral laws, with the collusion of half of the council members and mainstream media in this town, against the wishes of the city’s voters. He definitely is having his cake …
